Budapest

The Hungarian capital’s charm lies in the many cultural influences that affected the city during its long history. The city is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest.

Budapest has architecturally noteworthy buildings in a wide range of styles and from distinct time periods, from the ancient times as Roman City of which dates to around 89 AD, to the most modern Palace of Arts, the contemporary arts museum and concert hall.

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, commonly called just Ferihegy, is the international airport and the largest of the country's four commercial airports. The airport is located 16 kilometers southeast of the center of Budapest.
